Each higher educational institution of various countries show different approach regarding the education and based on the received results, they try to reach the highest standards in educa-tional field and relevant clinical competences.
Together with new achievements, evolution of the biotechnological and biomedical sciences, gained so much knowledge in dentistry that it is almost impossible to push it into practice. It be-came clear that traditional educational plan and traditional teaching methodology are not enough. For solving this problem, it is necessary to replace educational plan model with the inte-gration of fundamental and medical (dental) sciences, which will allow students, residents and postgraduate students to acquire relevant skills and new information through the entire life.
One of the most important conditions for the formation of dentist is the existence of the book with the latest information.
Book “Basic and Clinical Endodontics” is compiled with the scheme recommended by our and foreign authors and specialists (K. Gogilashvili, 2009; Боровский Е.В. 2007; Николаев А.И., Цепов Л.М. 2007; Петрикас А.Ж. 2002; Gu L-S, Ling J-Q, Wei X, Huang X-Y. 2008; Nair PRN, Henry S, Cano V, Vera J. 2005; Penesis VA, Fitzgerald PI, Fayad MI, Wenckus GS, Begole EA, Johnson BR. 2008; Saunders E.M. 2008; Spenger HR, Ike V, Brennan PA. 2007; Thomas MBM, Hayes SJ, Gilmore ASM. 2007; Vianna ME, Gomes BP, Berber VB. 2004; Venturri M, Breschi L. 2005; Yard GM, Boudagher FE. 2003; Wang GS, Arnold RR, Trope M. 2007).
