Subsequently, Mariam furthered her specialization in Conservative Periodontology at Albius International PerioSchool, solidifying her expertise in advanced dental practices. Presently, she serves as an invited lecturer and a dedicated PhD student at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, contributing to the education and training of future dental professionals.

She holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Tokai University Medical School and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Periodontology from Boston University Dental School. Dr. Barouch has an impressive background, having served as the director of postgraduate applied pharmacology and as a clinical assistant professor in periodontology at Boston University.
